Centres temporarily closed, delivery only service for now
Due to COVID-19 we have had to temporarily close all of our 5 centres until further notice. We hope to open them again in the future, once it is safe to do so.
For now, we are operating a delivery only service. If you are in crisis and cannot afford food, please contact Citizens Advice, your housing association, the council or your usual agency to get a referral to us.
They will then contact us with your details and we will arrange a delivery to your doorstep.
Please be patient with us, we are extremely busy but we are here for all of those who need us.
A current list of urgently needed items can be seen here.
A snippet from this week’s newsletter from the Foodbank –
“There have been moments of frustration when the phone has not stopped ringing, or a donation has arrived just as we thought we were done or the anticipated cup of tea has gone cold, again….and then the phone will ping with a message from a client saying how much they appreciated their food parcel, and you remember what you’re doing and why. And, more importantly, what a great bunch of people are pulling together to make things happen.
Many thanks to you all for your hard work, your support and your prayers.”
