Local Campaigning and Events
We send a weekly email to all local party members with details of all our events. We also have active twitter or X and Facebook accounts which are a great way to know what’s happening.

Socials
We have regular events all year round and meet at the Rifleman pub in Epsom for a social drink the first Friday of every month from 8pm. Come, join us for a chat; we don’t bite. We generally gather in the bar area just to the left of the door as you enter. Relaxed and informal.
Leaflet Delivery
We need an army of leaflet deliverers for the general election. If you’d like to volunteer we ‘d love to have your help.
Please contact our Campaigns Manager, Sarah, at skenyon71@gmail.com or Mark, our candidate, on markctodd@gmail.com if you’d like to get involved. We’d love you to.
Street Stalls / Railway Stations / Canvassing
We run street stalls to give out leaflets and talk to the public and also give out leaflets at railway stations and sometimes at schools.
Canvassing is knocking on doors and talking to residents. We canvass most days through the general election campaign. It includes asking people about views and their voting intentions so we know who our voters are. Most conversations are surprisingly warm and friendly.
Please contact our Campaigns Manager, Sarah, at skenyon71@gmail.com or Mark, our candidate, on markctodd@gmail.com if you’d like to get involved. We’d love you to.
Member Meetings
We have regular member meetings in which we discuss local and national politics. They occur every few months. Look out for our weekly emails for more details.
Conferences
At least two local members attend the national party conference each Autumn as delegates. We also attend the the South East Regional Conference that occurs every two years. All Labour Party members can apply for tickets for these conferences and get involved in forming national party policy.
Street Stalls
We regularly run street stalls in Epsom town centre to talk to local people, understand their view and highlight issues such as the problems in the NHS, women’s and gender-based issues, and Labour’s positive national policies.
General Elections
We contest all general elections in Epsom and Ewell. In the weeks before the election we will leaflet all the homes in Epsom and Ewell and we canvass thousands of homes. We run street stalls, talk to voters, and hand out leaflets at the train stations.
Labour has come second to the Conservatives in two of the last three General Elections in Epsom and Ewell making us the main challenger to Mr. Grayling.
At the next election, due in 2024, we will work harder than ever and stand a very good chance of winning the seat.
